David Chapman: CEO

David Chapman brings over 20 years of senior-level sales, marketing and public relations management experience to 919 Marketing. David's career path combines corporate and consulting roles, and includes stints as CEO of a brick and click professional services firm, EVP Marketing for the market leader in workforce technology training, and global Account Director for the largest global advertising agency network. He has developed strong brand-building skills while managing marketing efforts for Caterpillar, Jefferson Pilot, Lowe's Home Improvement, Nabisco Brands, Planters - Lifesavers, Sara Lee, Time Warner and Wachovia Bank.

David has a successful track record of transforming small business ideas into successful companies and has, to date, created and successfully managed three companies. He has served on the American Marketing Association's Best New Products Awards Panel and is a member of the National Association of Certified Consultants. David has also been a regularly featured columnist in the American Cities Network of business journals.


Chris Bubin: Vice President

With more than 15 years of business communications experience, Chris Bubin delivers a broad base of knowledge to any marketing question. A former business journalist with both corporate and public relations agency experience, he has directed corporate communications programs for First Citizens Bank, Weyerhauser, Broyhill Furniture Industries, the Food Bank of North Carolina, McDonald's, Interstate/Johnson Lane, Square D Company, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, among others.

Chris's strengths extend to media relations, investor relations, crisis communications, employee communications, community relations, integrated communications planning, merger communications, and other select public relations initiatives. He holds an MA in Corporate and Organizational Communications from Farleigh Dickinson University and a BS from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida.


Joe Lang: Vice President

Joe Lang adds a distinctive and powerful dimension to 919 Marketing through his ability to successfully design and manage sales promotions and lifestyle marketing events. Joe translates a unique understanding of sales promotion, publicity and event marketing, and their ability to transform programs into measurable, incremental sales volume. Joe is responsible for the HBO Comedy Series and the Aspen Jazz Festival, along with other special assignments.


Jack Chapman: Director of Operations

Jack comes to 919 Marketing after a successful career at AT&T, where he managed a global, multi-million dollar purchasing department. Jack created the 919 Marketing purchasing system, and negotiates project rates and timelines with our national network of Development Center partners.


Sally Brown: CFO

A native of Leicester England, Sally Brown is our Controller/CFO. She spent several years in the banking and commercial real estate industries before joining 919 Marketing in 1998.
