919 Marketing CEO Speaks at Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Success
919 Marketing Company announced today that its founder and Chief Executive Officer, David Chapman, will be speaking at the Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Success. The event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2003, at the McKimmon Center on the North Carolina State University campus. Close to 250 people are expected to attend.
The session entitled "Markets Change and Companies Evolve: What's your game plan?" is a how-to discussion that explains the company's LINK planning process, which has helped local companies like Duke University, Springboard Hosting and Tech Resource Group focus marketing resources on the market segments and target audiences with the greatest return.
"The LINK planning process speeds the development of a strategic business plan that connects your company's core competencies, purchasing triggers and market intelligence," said Chapman. "It picks up where the business plan stops. It's how you build an action plan to get things done - assign budgets, priorities and goals to real initiatives."
LINK combines market research, competitive audits, planning sessions with internal task force team members and the unvarnished perceptions of the sales channel into an effective action plan.
The session will include handouts, interactive Q&A and how-to examples of the process in action for local entrepreneurial organizations.
