Earlier this month, at the Senior Helpers annual conference in Las Vegas, David Chapman, 919 Marketing founder and CEO, and Sue Yannello, 919 Marketing Account Executive, delivered a ‘Top Gun Training for Marketing and PR’ presentation to an audience of hundreds of franchisees from across the nation. The core of the presentation focused on ways both established and emerging franchisees can grow their business through strategic media relations efforts.
919 Marketing is Senior Helpers’ public relations Agency of Record (AOR); a relationship that dates back to November 2007. Chapman and Yannello used the ‘Top Gun’ presentation to talk about the PR successes of the Senior Helpers brand as a whole and offer practical ideas that can be leveraged and utilized by individual franchise owners.
“We’ve worked with the Senior Helpers brand successfully on both the national stage and in local markets for years, but the goal this time was to equip each Senior Helpers franchise owner with powerful ideas to drive and sustain business at their respective locations,” Chapman said. “We can talk and teach but, ultimately, it’s the enthusiasm and effort of the franchisees that help our successful PR campaigns drive brand awareness and sales at the national and local level.”
The Senior Helpers national conference, held at the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa, ran from October 1 to October 2, 2010. The event provided over 350 attendees with roundtable discussions, vendor expos, and breakout session presentations in order to better inform them of the franchise’s direction and ways to overcome potential business challenges.
